  • Group Bike & Hike: meet at 11:00am at trailhead
The group bike and hike activities will both start at the same location and time at the north end of Osoyoos Lake on Road 22 at the bridge over the canal, just east of the main highway.
Bike ride: Join us for a leisurely 37km (23 mile) ride north to Oliver and back along the old Kettle Valley Railway on the “International Hike & Bike Trail”. This flat gravel biking and walking trail follows the Okanagan River channel. This gorgeous trail passes vineyards and farms, with viewpoints, washrooms, picnic tables, and interpretive signs along the way. We’re trying to arrange a spot for lunch in Oliver, more details to come if we’re successful. For the keeners who feel the need for a longer ride, you could ride the 15km to the trail head from the campground.
Hike/walk: From the same starting point as the bike ride, the hike heads south into the Oxbows, an amazing wetlands area for hiking, as well as bird watching. This recently restored trail is an easy walk, providing great views of one of Osoyoos’ only remaining wetlands. Approximately 5 km (3 mile) return trip. For a longer walk, head north from trailhead for as far as you want. Bring your own water and lunch/snacks.
Please note: Both these activities will require transportation to and from the parking area approximately 15kms from the campground. We anticipate many participants will have pick-ups and we could attempt to carpool and transport bikes and participants who don’t have transportation to the trailhead. If you would like to participate in either of these activities but need a ride, please contact daryl@escapetrailer.com so we can get a sense of how many we need to accommodate rides for.
  • Trailer Tours: 10:00am – 9:00pm (also available throughout the rally)
Want to peek into some other trailers and get inspired for doing your own mods or get some decorating ideas? Trailers available for viewing will be displayed with balloons. If you need some balloons, ask upon check-in or connect with an Escape Crew member.
