Position Title: General Labourer

Location: Chilliwack, BC

We have multiple positions available in various areas including plumbing, electrical, woodworking, and gas. If any of those listed interest you, we want to hear from you! Position Title: Fiberglass Polisher

Location: Chilliwack, BC

Escape Trailer Industries is a Chilliwack based RV trailer manufacturing business looking for a fiberglass polisher to join our team. We are a well-established company, boasting a team of over 100 people, with a trajectory for continued growth.

This position involves fiberglass repairs on the exterior of our RV trailers. One should be comfortable with body working repairs, sanding, buffing, and polishing and possess great attention to detail. Escape Trailer Industries offers a fast-paced, team environment suited to motivated individuals with a positive attitude looking for secure year-round employment.

 
Essential duties & requirements include:
  • Polishing, sanding & buffing fiberglass
  • Inspecting and working repairs
  • Must be comfortable working with power tools, hand tools, or other specialty tools
  • Must be comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves, or face respirators
 
Skills & Experience:
  • Tape measure usage (down to the 16ths)
  • Experience with various power tools or hand tools
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 

Education:
  • High School diploma
  • Technical courses will be considered an asset

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Production Supervisor that can work in a team environment with lots of drive to get their work done efficiently while keeping quality. Our company is looking for people that are energetic and committed to their work. We offer a competitive wage and an extended benefits package after 3 months.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and oversee an employee training schedule that emphasizes productivity and resource conservation
  • Evaluate the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job
  • Assume responsibility for manufacturing processes in the respective area
  • Maintain open lines of communication between employees and management
  • Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly

Experience:
  • +5 years working in manufacturing or construction environment
  • +2 years of experience working in supervisor/leader position
  • Experience supervising people in production area
  • Vast experience working with hand tools, power tools, tape measure
  • Good understanding about the industry

This role requires flexibility, confidentiality, attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills. It would be well suited to someone who can multi-task, loves working with people, and enjoys contributing to a team environment. Experience with sales, customer service and administrative areas will be considered an asset.

 

Essential duties & requirements include:

  • Manage communications with customers from completion of sales order to final delivery confirmation
  • Modify customer sales orders as required
  • Schedule and coordinate with customers for their trailer deliveries
  • Coordinate with our logistics partner for customer trailer deliveries
  • Complete documentation for customer deliveries
  • Respond to customers queries and give after-sales support when requested
  • Store and sort financial and non-financial data in SharePoint Online
  • Other duties commensurate with your skill set

Position Title: Material Handler

Location: Chilliwack, BC

Escape Trailer Industries is a Chilliwack based RV trailer manufacturing business. A well-established company, boasting a team of over 100 people, with a trajectory for continued growth.

We are looking for a competent Material Handler member to join our team. Our Material Handler will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain and inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis
  • Load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order
  • Collaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups to determine when product is missing in a delivery.
Experience:
  • Forklift experience (license/certificate preferred)
  • 1+ years inventory management/warehouse experience
Preferred Skills/Requirements:

Our company is seeking a talented engineer to help us develop new models of fiberglass trailers. This role will support the manufacturing team to achieve business objectives by prototyping, developing, and testing new products, supporting the Engineering team in all aspects of the production line. It is a great opportunity for learning and growing!

 

Essential duties & requirements include
  • Supporting all departments to meet their daily/weekly/monthly goals
  • Support the engineering development team on the new trailer model development.
  • Support the shop floor production until the new model becomes ready for the prototype
  • Work closely with the marketing and operational teams, ensuring a successful launch of the product.
  • Prepare reports and documentation when required
  • Train Technicians and operators
  • Identify areas of improvements, suggest solutions and summit ideas
  • Designs and coordinates engineering tests and experiments
  • Completes basic tasks on engineering documentation
  • Work closely with the marketing and operational teams, ensuring a successful launch of the new trailers
  • Support the shop floor production until new models become ready for prototype
  • Support the engineering team in the process of developing new models
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
 
Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of computer design and engineering software’s
