Position Title:Service Technician

Escape Trailer is looking for mechanical experienced individuals to join our growing team. This role will require strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work in a team environment. You will be involved in running diagnostic tests, assembling hitches, adding/installing after sales purchases and support service. RV knowledge is a benefit, though not required.

As a Service Technician your role includes:
- Run diagnostic tests on electrical components
- Assemble trailer hitches
- Add/install any after sales purchases to customer trailers
- Assist in customer hitch orientations
- Support service trailers
Preferred Skills/Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong working knowledge of diagnostic equipment and various tools
- RV knowledge is a benefit
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English

This role will require strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work under pressure in a team environment. You will be involved in polishing, sanding and buffing fiberglass using various power tools and hand tools. Must be comfortable wearing a respirator. Polishing experience an asset but not required. We will train you! We are looking for positive-minded individuals who are eager to learn.

As a Fiberglass Polisher your role includes:
- Polishing, sanding & buffing fiberglass
- Inspecting and working repairs
- Must be comfortable working with power tools, hand tools, or other specialty tools
- Must be comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves, or face respirators
Preferred Skills/Requirements
- Tape measure usage (down to the 16ths)
- Experience with various power tools or hand tools
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High School diploma
- Technical courses will be considered an asset

You will be involved in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing various components to produce a finished Escape trailer that meets quality standards. Carpentry experience is a requirement, cabinetry experience is an asset. We are looking for positive-minded individuals who are eager to learn.

- Attain daily quality and delivery targets through standardized work
- Work daily with various power tools & hand tools
- Cut, measure and assemble and install components to accurate specifications
- Work independently on assigned projects with time restraints in mind
- Following company standard requirements on safety and quality protocols
Preferred Skills/Requirements
- Carpentry: 2 years (Preferred)
- Cabinetry experience an asset
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- High School Diploma
- Fluent in English

- Work independently on assigned projects with time restraints in mind
- Use various tools such as tape measures, polishers, sanders, etc.
- Working repairs and spraying gelcoat
- Following company standard requirements on safety and quality protocols
- Problem solving with the ability to multitask & prioritize work
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Comfortable wearing a respirator for extended periods
- Experience in production/manufacturing
- Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Lift up to 50lbs
- High School Diploma
- Fluent in English
