Position Title: General Labourer

Location: Chilliwack, BC

We have multiple positions available in various areas including plumbing, electrical, woodworking, and gas. If any of those listed interest you, we want to hear from you! Position Title: Facility Supervisor

Location: Chilliwack, BC

Escape Trailer Industries is a Chilliwack based RV trailer manufacturing business looking for a Facility Supervisor to join our team. A well-established company, boasting a team of over 100 people, with a trajectory for continued growth.

We are looking for a competent Facility Supervisor to manage maintenance in our facility. This role requires flexibility, eye for detail, with an outstanding knowledge of building trades, procedures, and maintenance.

Essential duties & requirements include:

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
  • Supervise and train maintenance workers 
  • Inspect and maintain building systems
  • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
  • Participate in coordination of projects (e.g., renovations)
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
 
Experience:
  • Facilities Maintenance experience (+5 years)
  • Maintenance (light duty)
  • Welding experience
  • Forklift experience (license/certificate preferred)
  • Light duty mechanic experience
  • General maintenance experience
 
Preferred Skills/Requirement:
  • Work independently as well as in a collaborative environment

Position Title: Team Member – (Fiberglass Area)

Location: Chilliwack, BC

Escape Trailer Industries offers a fast-paced, collaborative team environment suited to motivated individuals with a positive attitude looking for secure year-round employment.  This position involves Gelcoat repairs on the exterior of fiberglass RV trailers. Should be comfortable with body working repairs, spraying Gelcoat, sanding, and polishing

Position Title: Scheduler

Location: Chilliwack, BC

This role requires someone responsible, with a team player attitude, and experience in fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for creating a schedule for all departments to ensure production can meet and complete.

Essential duties & requirements include
  • Carry out planning and coordination of production schedules
  • Supervise schedules and workflow to ensure that deliveries are made in a timely manner
  • Perform pre-organization of production materials before the commencement of production
  • Coordinate and develop production plans with the company’s management team
  • Generate production reports that are meant to be used for important (production) decisions
  • Contribute for manufacturing or production process, through more effective schedule management
  • Contribute for manage production resources
 
Experience:
  • Excellent communication skills on all fronts (listening and speaking)
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills to be able to get along well with other workers (cohesion)
  • Must have good coordination and organizational abilities. This is needed in a bid to always deliver products on time to customers
  • Must display a high level of good leadership qualities
  • Must have good time management abilities
  • Must understand the basics of customer care
  • Willingness to work as part of a team or even lead a team when called upon

This role will be responsible for supporting manufacturing supervisors to achieve business objectives by evaluating operations (Safety, Quality, Production, Costs) and identify opportunities for improvement.

Essential duties & requirements include
  • Support all departments to meet their daily/weekly/monthly goals and communicate them to the team
  • Conduct time studies on all job elements
  • Work with the Engineering department to optimize tools and designs
  • Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions when required
  • Maintains product and process database by writing computer programs, entering data.

Our company is seeking a talented engineer to help us develop new models of fiberglass trailers. This role will support the manufacturing team to achieve business objectives by prototyping, developing, and testing new products, supporting the Engineering team in all aspects of the production line. It is a great opportunity for learning and growing!

 

Essential duties & requirements include
  • Supporting all departments to meet their daily/weekly/monthly goals
  • Support the engineering development team on the new trailer model development.
  • Support the shop floor production until the new model becomes ready for the prototype
  • Work closely with the marketing and operational teams, ensuring a successful launch of the product.
  • Prepare reports and documentation when required
  • Train Technicians and operators
  • Identify areas of improvements, suggest solutions and summit ideas
  • Designs and coordinates engineering tests and experiments
  • Completes basic tasks on engineering documentation

Experience in a manufacturing organization is an asset, and a good understanding of WSBC in the workplace.   

Essential duties & requirements include
  • Performs administrative and clerical tasks
  • Provide support to the Operations Management Team
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department
  • Managing and updating databases
  • Be an active participant on H&S committee
  • Updating policies regarding H&S issues
  • Co-ordinate the Health and Safety meetings
  • Prepare minutes and agenda for H&S meetings and distribute accordingly
  • Perform essential workplace inspections and note non-conformances
 
Experience:
  • Clerical and administrative experience 
  • Communication skills 
  • Organization skills 
  • Suitable experience in a manufacturing organization is an asset
 
Preferred skills:
