Escape Trailer is looking for manufacturing experienced individuals to join our team.  This role will require strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work in a team environment.  You will be involved in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing various components to produce a finished Escape trailer that meets quality standards.   Electrical, gas, plumbing or carpentry experience is an asset, but not a requirement.  We are looking for positive-minded individuals who are eager to learn.

As an Assembly Technician your role includes:

  • Work independently and collaboratively with fellow team members, supervisors, and engineers
  • Attain daily quality and delivery targets through standardized work
  • Work daily with various power tools & hand tools
  • Work independently on assigned projects with time restraints in mind
  • Following company standard requirements on safety and quality protocols

 

Preferred Skills/Requirements

  • Electrical (12V/120V), gas, carpentry or plumbing experience is preferred but not required
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Experience working in manufacturing or construction environments
  • High School Diploma
  • Fluent in English

Escape Trailer is looking for a Fiberglass Technician to join our growing team. This position involves Multiple Fiberglass Functions. One should be comfortable with body work repairs, sanding, buffing, polishing and possess great attention to detail. Escape Trailer Industries offers a fast-paced, team environment suited to motivated individuals with a positive attitude looking for a secure year-round employment.

As a Fiberglass Technician, your role includes:

 

· Collaborating with fellow Team members, Supervisors, and Quality Control

· Polishing, sanding, buffing, laying up and rolling fiberglass

· Inspecting and performing repairs including imperfections, fractures and holes, spraying Gelcoat

· Use various tools: Power tools- cutting, sanding, grinding and polishing: Hand tools- tape measures (down to the 16th)

· Work independently on assigned projects with time restraints in mind

· Problem solving with the ability to multitask & prioritize work

· Following company standard requirements on safety and quality protocols

Preferred Skills/Requirements: 

· Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves or face respirators (long periods)

· Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

· Ability to work in a team setting

· Lift up to 50lbs

· High School Diploma

· Technical course will be considered an asset

· Fluent in English

Escape Trailer Industries is a Chilliwack-based RV trailer manufacturing business looking for a Quality Control team member to join our team. A well-established company, customer focus, boasting a team of over 100 people, with a trajectory for continued growth.

We’re looking for someone that can work in a team environment with lots of drive to get their job done efficiently, with eye for detail, while keeping quality of work. The Quality Control role will support the production line, doing quality checks and making sure all the processes of the production area are completed, following all the company standards. Our company is looking for people that are energetic and committed to their work. We offer a competitive wage and an extended benefits package after 3 months.

 

Experience/Requirements:

Escape Trailer is a unique RV travel trailer manufacturer located in Chilliwack, BC. We have manufactured trailers for over 18 years and we are searching for an Inventory Specialist to join our supply chain division. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in shipping/receiving, comfortable in a fast-paced environment and possess a positive attitude. Responsibilities:

  • Shipping & Receiving of products in the warehouse ensuring accuracy in inventory levels, stock control, and tracking shipments
  • Loading and unloading of trucks, deliveries, and products coming in and leaving the warehouse
  • Tracking the inventory, picking orders
  • Follow company standard requirements on safety and quality protocols
  • Willing to work some weekends and occasional overtime on an as-needed basis
  • Problem solving

Preferred Skills/Requirements:

  • Shipping / Receiving and/or inventory management (2+ years)
  • Order management systems (2 years)
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize work. 
  • Previous experience using a sit-down forklift and ride-on pallet jack is an asset
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lb and able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • High School Diploma
  • Fluent in English
