Escape Trailer is looking for manufacturing experienced individuals to join our team.  This role will require strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work in a team environment.  You will be involved in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing various components to produce a finished Escape trailer that meets quality standards.   Electrical, gas, plumbing or carpentry experience is an asset, but not a requirement.  We are looking for positive-minded individuals who are eager to learn.

As an Assembly Technician your role includes:

  • Work independently and collaboratively with fellow team members, supervisors, and engineers
  • Attain daily quality and delivery targets through standardized work
  • Work daily with various power tools & hand tools
  • Work independently on assigned projects with time restraints in mind
  • Following company standard requirements on safety and quality protocols

 

Preferred Skills/Requirements

  • Electrical (12V/120V), gas, carpentry or plumbing experience is preferred but not required
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Experience working in manufacturing or construction environments
  • High School Diploma
  • Fluent in English

This role will require strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work under pressure in a team environment. You will be involved in casting, polishing, sanding and buffing fiberglass using various power tools and hand tools. Must be comfortable wearing a respirator. Fiberglass experience an asset, but not required. We will train you! We are looking for positive-minded individuals who are eager to learn.

As a Fiberglass Booth/Polisher your role includes:

  • Casting fiberglass shells
  • Polishing, sanding & buffing fiberglass
  • Working repairs and spraying gelcoat
  • Inspecting and working repairs
  • Work independently on assigned projects with time restraints in mind
  • Use various tools such as tape measures, polishers, sanders, etc.
  • Must be comfortable working with power tools, hand tools, or other specialty tools
  • Must be comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves, or face respirators
  •  

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Comfortable wearing a respirator for extended periods
  • Experience with various power tools or hand tools
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High School diploma
  • Technical courses will be considered an asset
  •

As a Production Supervisor your role incudes:

  • Create and oversee an employee training schedule that emphasizes productivity and resource conservation
  • Evaluate the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures (in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for injuries on the job
  • Assume responsibility for manufacturing processes in the respective area
  • Maintain open lines of communication between employees and management
  • Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly
  •  

Experience:

  • +5 years working in manufacturing or construction environment
  • +2 years of experience working in supervisor/leader position
  • Vast experience working with hand tools, power tools and tape measures
  • Good understanding of the industry
  •  

Preferred Skills/Requirements:

  • Work independently as well as in a collaborative environment
  • Communicating effectively with Manager, other Supervisors, and Team Members
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility and adaptability

Escape Trailer Industries is a Chilliwack-based RV trailer manufacturing business looking for a Quality Control team member to join our team. A well-established company, customer focus, boasting a team of over 100 people, with a trajectory for continued growth.

We’re looking for someone that can work in a team environment with lots of drive to get their job done efficiently, with eye for detail, while keeping quality of work. The Quality Control role will support the production line, doing quality checks and making sure all the processes of the production area are completed, following all the company standards. Our company is looking for people that are energetic and committed to their work. We offer a competitive wage and an extended benefits package after 3 months.

Experience/Requirements:

Attention to detail

Use of various power tools (2 years)

Tape Measure (down to the 16th)

Education:

Secondary School (Required)

Language:

English (Required)

Job Details:

Full-time permanent

5 days per week (Mon. – Fri.)

8 hour shifts 8:00am – 4:30pm
