Position Title: Facility Maintenance

Location: Chilliwack, BC

Escape Trailer is looking for maintenance experienced individuals to join our growing team.  This role will require strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work under pressure in a team environment.  You will be involved in inspecting the facility, maintaining building systems, and monitoring materials and equipment.  We are looking for positive-minded individuals who are eager to learn and join our team!

As a Facility Maintenance member your role includes:

  • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
  • Supervise and train maintenance workers
  • Inspect and maintain building systems
  • Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
  • Participate in coordination of projects (e.g., renovations)
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations


Your experience:

  • Facilities Maintenance experience (5+ years)
  • Maintenance Light duty
  • Welding experience
  • Forklift experience (license/certificate preferred)
  • Light duty mechanic experience
  • General maintenance experience

 

Preferred Skills/Requirements: 

  • Work independently as well as in a collaborative environment
  • Communicating effectively with Manager, Supervisors, and fellow Team Members
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility and adaptability 
  • Works well in fast paced environment

Education:

  • High School diploma

Position Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Escape Trailer is looking for forklift experienced individuals to join our growing team.  This role will require strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work in a team environment.  You will be involved in picking orders, pulling product, loading/unloading deliveries and working closely with the inventory control team.  We are looking for positive-minded individuals who are eager to learn.

As a Material Handler/Forklift Operator your role includes:

  • Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain and inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis
  • Load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order
  • Collaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups to determine when a product is missing in a delivery.


Your experience:

  • 2+ years forklift experience (license/certificate preferred)
  • 1+ years inventory management experience

Escape Trailer is looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team.  This role will require strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work under pressure in a team environment.  You will be involved in polishing, sanding and buffing fiberglass using various power tools and hand tools.  Must be comfortable wearing a respirator.  Polishing experience is an asset, but not required.  We will train you!  We are looking for positive-minded individuals who are eager to learn.

As a Fiberglass Polisher your role includes:

  • Polishing, sanding & buffing fiberglass
  • Inspecting and working repairs
  • Must be comfortable working with power tools, hand tools, or other specialty tools
  • Must be comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves, or face respirators.


Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Tape measure usage (down to the 16ths)
  • Experience with various power tools or hand tools
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High School diploma
  • Technical courses will be considered an asset

As a Production Supervisor your role includes:

  • Create and oversee an employee training schedule that emphasizes productivity and resource conservation
  • Evaluate the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures (in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for injuries on the job
  • Assume responsibility for manufacturing processes in the respective area
  • Maintain open lines of communication between employees and management
  • Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly


Experience:

  • +5 years working in manufacturing or construction environment
  • +2 years of experience working in supervisor/leader position
  • Vast experience working with hand tools, power tools and tape measures
  • Good understanding of the industry

As a Fiberglass Technician, your role includes:

  • Collaborating with fellow team members, supervisors, and engineers
  • Casting, cleaning, prepping and assembling fiberglass shells
  • Work independently on assigned projects with time restraints in mind
  • Use various tools such as tape measures, polishers, sanders, etc.
  • Working repairs and spraying gelcoat
  • Following company standard requirements on safety and quality protocols
  • Problem solving with the ability to multitask & prioritize work


Preferred Skills/Requirements:

  • Comfortable wearing a respirator for extended periods
  • Experience in production/manufacturing
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Lift up to 50lbs
  • High School Diploma
  • Fluent in English
