2023 Golf

The 2023 Rally in the Valley golf has been moved to the The Osoyoos Golf Club. Tee times will be at 1:10pm and 1:20pm on Saturday. Cost is $70 CAD for cart and 9 holes. Please call us for payment at 1-855-703-1650.

2023 Hike and Bike

Bikers are meeting at Clubhouse A at 10:30am. Jim Baserville has suggested the following ride.

About 19 km.  Mostly flat.  One climb up Golf Course Dr but rewarded by lots of great paved trails.  About 2 hours at casual pace depending on group and whether on EBikes or not. Not planning on lunch at this time but open to it if group desires.

We have found a few volunteers to help organize. We’ll make an announcement during the Friday evening dinner for everyone interested to meet up after the dinner to discuss plans for Saturday.

Bike: Last year we all met at the north end of Osoyoos Lake on Road 22 and road the 12km gravel canal trail along the Okanagan River channel into Oliver. Once in Oliver there’s a nice riverside park and a variety of options for lunch. Click here for more details on this specific trail.

On the same route but starting in Oliver you could travel along the canal heading north with a destination of the District Wine Village which has 12 wineries, 1 brewery, 1 distillery and a restaurant. If you started the ride in Oliver and followed the canal north you would eventually run into Highway 97. Follow the highway a couple km’s to the village. It would be about 7km from Oliver, click here for more details on the District Wine Village. If you wanted a longer ride, the District Wine Village could be the final destination starting at the trail head on Road 22 which would make for about 20km one way.

Another option is a route on the Similkameen Sip & Cycle tour. There are a few different lengths of routes that take you into wine country in and around Cawston, BC on Highway 3 west of Osoyoos. For more details click here.

Walk: There are a number of walking trails in the area, click here to see what is suggested by Destination Osoyoos. If want to stay close to the campground, there is a 1.5km trail at the Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre. The centre will be open for the rally weekend and there’s a $16 ($15 for seniors) fee to enter. There will be no guided tours available, click here for more details.
